Why DocPin

Why not just share from Claude?

Claude's own sharing is made for people who use Claude. Sending a client a claude.ai link is a different job.

It looks like Claude's, not yours

A claude.ai address with a long random ID. Nothing in it says who sent it or what it is.

Outsiders see a warning

Claude's docs say people opening a public artifact link from outside your organization see “Content is user-generated and unverified.” instead of your name.

Private means a Claude sign-in

Inviting people by email means they sign in with Claude. DocPin lets a client in with their work email, Google or a password. No Claude account needed.

Questions

DocPin for Claude, answered

Which Claude plans does this work on?

All of them. Custom connectors work on Free (one connector), Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. On Team and Enterprise an owner adds DocPin once, then each person connects their own DocPin workspace.

What can DocPin see in my Claude chats?

Only what Claude sends it when you ask it to publish or change a page: the page itself and settings like who can open it. DocPin doesn't read your conversations, and Claude asks before using a connector the first time.

Does it work with artifacts made before September 2026?

Yes. Open the old chat and ask Claude to publish the artifact to DocPin. It sends the current version and you get your own link.

Can I keep using Claude's own Share button?

Of course. Share with teammates who use Claude there, and use DocPin for pages that go to clients, customers or the rest of your company.

What does it cost?

DocPin is free for 3 pages, with a small DocPin badge. Pro is $8 a month for unlimited pages, your own domain, passwords and people-only pages.
